Bereaved through Alcohol and Drugs (BEAD) - Drop-in session

28 Nov 2016

The BEAD project is a partnership between Cruse Bereavement Care and Adfam, providing practical and emotional support and information specifically for anyone bereaved through a loved one’s drug or alcohol use.

Our volunteers are all people who have themselves been bereaved through drug or alcohol use and have been trained to offer support to others going through similar experiences. We strongly feel that peer support can be extremely beneficial in helping people through times of need.

This drop-in session is for potential clients to find out more about the project and the benefits of peer support. You will hear from BEAD volunteers and previous participants about support the project offers, including the peer support groups in Central London.

This session will be held on Monday 28th November from 18:30-20:00, and you are welcome to come and go as you please. It will be held at the Business Suite, 2nd floor, 120 Cromer Street, London, WC1H 8BS. Hot drinks and light snacks will be available.

If the BEAD project sounds like something you would find helpful, we would be really keen to meet you at the drop-in and tell you more about the support we offer. To find out more and to register for the drop-in please contact Robert Stebbings.
