BEAD (Bereaved through Alcohol and Drugs) Peer Support Group (London)
4 Jul 2017
The BEAD project is a partnership between Cruse Bereavement Care and Adfam, providing practical and emotional support and information specifically for anyone bereaved through a loved one’s drug or alcohol use.
In July we are holding the fourth round of sessions for our fantastic peer support group in central London. The group brings together people who have all been bereaved through drug or alcohol use to offer mutual support and share experiences. It's a closed group of eight weekly sessions, and the first session is on Tuesday 4 July. The group is facilitated by two volunteers who have themselves lost someone through drugs or alcohol and have been trained to offer support to others going through similar experiences.
The first session is on Tuesday 4 July, and it will then run every Tuesday until 22 August.
Sessions will run from 18:45-20:30.
