2nd National Summit on Tackling Multiple Disadvantage

8 May 2017

The 2nd National Summit on Tackling Multiple Disadvantage will be taking place on the 8th and 9th May 2017 in Milton Keynes. This event has been jointly organised by Big Lottery Fund, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (UK Branch), Lankelly Chase, the Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) charities (Clinks, Homeless Link, Mind and Collective Voice) and Revolving Doors Agency.

People facing multiple disadvantage have been pushed to the extreme margins of UK society. The links between problems like homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill health, violence, contact with the criminal justice system, domestic abuse and extreme poverty often go unrecognised by services and systems mostly designed to deal with one issue at a time.

Two years ago, the first National Summit brought together a vibrant network of people with lived experience, service providers, commissioners and policy makers, each with different skills and expertise and all committed to achieving change for people facing multiple disadvantage. This year researches have also been invited to join the mix.

Please read this flyer (pdf) for more information and click here to buy tickets.

Tickets cost £75 for a day place or £200 for the two days including meals and accommodation.
