13 May 2017

The Bereaved through Alcohol and Drugs (BEAD) project is holding a free information session in Birmingham on Saturday 13 May. This will be an opportunity for people who have been bereaved in this way to find out more about what support is available to them locally, and also a chance for people who work in or have an interest in the drug and alcohol or bereavement sector to find out more about BEAD and issues for people bereaved in this way.

The days will run from 12.30 – 4pm and lunch will be provided. Sessions will include:

  • Personal accounts and discussion
  • Self-help ideas
  • Information
  • Signposting and mapping of local services

Please note the venue is TBC.

There will also be an information session in Manchester on Saturday 29 April, see here for more information.

Please also feel free to put up or share these two posters promoting the sessions: Manchester (pdf), Birmingham (pdf).
