Adfam welcomes Steve Curtis to the team

29 Nov 2016

We are delighted to announce that Steve Curtis has joined the team as Family Support Development Coordinator (Newham).

Steve has worked with children, young people and their families for 28 years. With substantial experience of developing projects directly with service users to meet their needs, Steve will be developing an innovative family support project in Newham.

Steve has worked in the third sector, for local authorities, charities and ran a young people’s social enterprise in Hackney for 10 years. Steve recently finished a project addressing alcohol misuse amongst young offenders in London for Alcohol Concern.

This new project will be working directly with families affected by substance misuse and will develop sessions that help improve family communication. The project's aim is to provide a strong and clear voice for young people whilst providing some fun and engaging activities; supporting families to regain some control in communicating with each other.

If you would like to connect with Steve you can email him at: s.curtis@adfam.org.uk
