Opportunity for families to get away this summer!

Adfam owns a static caravan at Combe Haven near Hastings in Suffolk, which is available at a heavily discounted price for families affected by drugs, alcohol or gambling to have a respite break this summer.

As we approach another summer where many will be reconsidering holiday plans with restrictions on travelling abroad still largely in place, this year is a chance for us all to explore what’s available closer to home.

Adfam’s static caravan at Combe Haven near Hastings in Suffolk is available to let, at a heavily discounted price for families affected by drugs, alcohol or gambling to take a respite break.

The caravan is a "deluxe" model, very new and in excellent condition. The caravan sleeps eight, with three bedrooms each sleeping two - one double and two twins, whilst an additional two people can sleep in the living space on a convertible sofa. The caravan has one bathroom and one living space/kitchen. You can see a video and pictures here: https://www.haven.com/accommodation/caravans/deluxe.aspx#

Combe Haven itself has a wide variety of entertainment: sports and organised playtime for children; bars, music and slot machines for adults. Read more: www.haven.com/parks/sussex/combe-haven.

There are three options available for booking the caravan:

  • a four-night week stay, arriving Monday and leaving Friday
  • a three-night weekend stay, arriving Friday and leaving Monday
  • a seven-night weeklong stay which combines these two options

The caravan is available to let from June running through until the end of October.

Costs vary week by week to reflect time of the year and school holiday. To find out more or book, please email admin@adfam.org.uk.

Support packs are also available in the caravan which contain information on local and national services, as well as Adfam publications and DVDs which provide readers with emotional and practical support and information.
