A comprehensive evaluation of the adult services of Family Support Link, a support service for families affected by someone else's substance use in Northamptonshire.
The report details just how severely the families need support: on entry into the service 47% of clients have a mental wellbeing in the bottom 10% of the entire country. It also shows the remarkable level of transformation clients go through both whilst accessing the service and long after. This gives an incredible insight into the long-term impact made by family support services, particularly through the use of the 5-Step model of support. It also forms an important part of the evidence base for sectoral investment, showing just how critical continued funding of support it.
