Adfam remembers Christine Tebano

Adfam is saddened to hear of the death of Christine Tebano, founder, and Chief Executive of Parent Support Link (PSL).

PSL is a charity that supports anyone affected by someone else’s substance use in Southampton and across Hampshire. Christine setup PSL in 1993, starting off as a phone line in her bedroom, before building it up over the years into the vibrant and active organisation it is today, supporting thousands of families in the process.

The amazing work that Christine has done over many years, in championing and supporting families affected by substance use and driving this issue forward is an inspiration to all of us in the family support sector and beyond. Those of us that knew Christine were touched by her enthusiasm, energy, passion, and kindness. We offer our deepest sympathies to her daughter Rhona the rest of her family, along with her team and colleagues at PSL, and celebrate the incredible legacy Christine leaves behind.

If you would like to pay your respects to Christine, you can find details of her funeral on Wednesday 25th May below.

PSL will continue to support families in Southampton and across Hampshire during this time and going forward, if you live in this area and are affected by the addiction of a family member or friend, visit the PSL website for support or phone their 24/7 helpline on: 023 8039 9764.
