Families affected by dual diagnosis - creative writing

Over the past 2 years, Adfam has been researching families' experiences of dual diagnosis - and piloting support and advocacy methods to identify what is most effective in supporting families affected in this way and in giving them a platform to share their experiences.

We recently ran a creative writing workshop for family members, to enable them to use writing as a creative and therapeutic means of expression.

We are extremely grateful to those who took part and offered to shared their poems and pieces of writing, and we hope that by sharing these we can reach out to other families that are supporting a loved one with a dual diagnosis, and to show to them that they’re not alone in their situation.
