The Commission on Alcohol Harm recently made a call for written evidence as part of its inquiry into alcohol harm and the changes needed to reduce the harm caused by alcohol.
Adfam responded to the call to provide evidence of the range of harms alcohol can cause to families and the difficulties families face in getting support from services. You can download Adfam's full response here (pdf).
The Commission on Alcohol Harm is supported by the Alcohol Health Alliance (AHA) and was set up to examine the current evidence on alcohol harm, recent trends in alcohol harm and the changes needed to reduce the harm caused by alcohol.
In addition to the call for written evidence the Commission will hold three oral evidence sessions across the UK later this year.
