Here’s a fun way to help raise funds for our vital work supporting families! Will you take on the 2.6 challenge for Adfam?
The London Marathon (26.2 miles) was due to take place this Sunday. 26th April. It has been cancelled, along with thousands of other fundraising events across the UK due to COVID-19. The organisers have instead come up with a fun way to help charities raise funds at this time.
This is a challenge suitable for all ages and abilities. All you need to do is think of a fun activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26. This could be a 2.6 mile walk...or 26 star-jumps...or even getting your kids to draw 26 rainbows.
- Decide what to do for your 2.6/26 challenge
- Set up your fundraising page: https://twopointsixchallenge.justgiving.com/get-involved?charityId=119292
- Do your #TwoPointSixChallenge on Sunday 26 April
- Don't forget to share your challenge on instagram /Twitter/ Facebook and tag @AdfamUK and #TwoPointSixChallenge
All of the money raised will go to the work that we do supporting and campaigning for families affected by drugs, alcohol and gambling. The current global pandemic means that already challenging circumstances may become even more difficult for families, so our work is more important than ever!
