The Global Family Recovery Alliance is running a survey for family members, to support the development of a Global Position Paper on Family Recovery. The Alliance is looking to include as many voices of affected family members, including bereaved family members, as possible.
The Global Position Paper on Family Recovery (GPPFR) represents a collaborative endeavour uniting civil society organisations, non-governmental organisations, institutions, academia, researchers, and individuals engaged in grassroots, national, regional, and global initiatives. Its collective purpose is to amplify a cohesive global voice for family recovery and foster a deeper understanding of the significance of supporting recovery.
The Alliance is striving to facilitate co-production and ownership of this paper, providing organisations with a meaningful platform to actively contribute to its development. Involving stakeholders in the co-production process ensures that the GPPFR is better aligned with the real needs and priorities of the communities and enhances the paper’s relevance and applicability in diverse contexts and levels such as the UN. To achieve this, an online survey is being facilitated to gather perspectives from around the world.
The paper will delve into four key themes, drawn from a compilation of statements submitted by stakeholders. To participate, kindly submit a maximum of 3 statements per theme that reflect your position, or that of your network or membership.

The Alliance will be hosting a meeting to review the results of the survey in the coming months. Stay tuned for further information.
