Have tried my darling, tapering does not seem to work for me. I have quit a few times before, it was hell! But I think I had a moment of clarity and just said ” I am fed up with living half a life, I am wasting so much time and years on this stupid addiction”. I dread to think how much money I have spent over the years on this! Lol. Probably better I do not add it up! I have lived in many places around the world and it followed me. New Zealand you can walk in and buy a pack of 72 in any chemist and they are not behind the counter. I would send my 12 year old daughter in to pick me up a box while I waited in my car outside. I am so ashamed of what I put my family through. I want to write a book in which the main character gets caught up in this awful life and addiction. There is not enough being said about us over the counter addicts. How are you going?
