He was spending £200 a day but has recently cut it down to £40-80 per day. The problem is that everyone does it where he works so it’s hard to get away from. He’s told me he doesn’t do it at work now and will do it at home so I can see what he’s using. And I’m in control of his money now but how do I know if he’s racking up an iou with his mates!?

I’ve told him to read a book or do a jigsaw puzzle but ‘it’s not his thing’. I don’t know what else to suggest.

He has addiction forums that he reads and chats on and he’s been watching addiction programmes on Netflix.
