My heart is so heavy but it has been 16 years of hell with my now about to be 30 year old. He has scammed me out of £10,000’s and it must stop now. I’ve had a 100 deadlines when he was going to shot, or stabbed or kicked and he always returns to the ‘addict’. How do I get through hearing him twisting the emotional knife – and telling me that for just £400, £500, £1000, £1700 etc he could be free to go to CA and I could buy his life??

I ‘m so sorry to read of how you feel and how emotionally tough it is for you to think of stopping enabling your son. You have been going through such a hard time.
