Hi, im new here but really need some support or guidance. My 44 yr old son lives with me after having a pulmonary embolism and some small strokes. He is not coping with the lockdown and has been having outbursts of shouting and swearing, not directed at me but loud enough for it to be very disturbing. As far as i know hes been clean for a long time but has dabbled with valium and smokes a lot of weed.i have to hide medication of mine or he will take it. Yesterday he told me he had taken 45 mls of methadone, he had to tell me because he was falling about and spilling drinks, just generally being off his head. Hes taken something again today but isnt as out of control, just eyes rolling and unsteady. I am at the end of my tether, im almost 70 and have lived with this since he was 17. I justvreally want to know if there are any services any more, i vant get into this nightmare again. Asking him to leave is not an option because in a way its even worse sorting out the mess he gets into. Can anyone offer any advice?
