My adult son it a meth addict and I just don’t know how to help him or where to turn. He disappears for weeks at a time (he still lives at home) and reappears in such distress it breaks my heart. Every time I arrange for someone from the local drug advice place to give him a ring and he agrees to talk to them but then he doesnt engage or follow up on any appointments.

He’s put himself in such dangerous situations and has been through so many traumatic experiences due to this drug.

Any other parents out there with advice?

The family support programme is all remote and they help many families a year.
