I am coming from being the partner of an addict and all I ever wanted was to be told the truth as the lie was always more painful than the slip ups I expected. Hope you work out what’s best for you

Thank you for your reply, it is such a horrible position to be in and I’m sorry you’re having to go through it on the opposite side of the fence

Thank you. I also realise that this isn’t the appropriate forum for this (as it’s for those impacted by others usage), therefore cleared my original post – I was unsure how to remove!

Hi JB London, welcome to the forum. If you read Danman83 posts he is a person in recovery. He’s very supportive and gives out lots of good advice.

Relapses can happen unfortunately but this is common i believe.

Click onto share your story and just scroll back until you see his posts.

My son is addicted to alcohol and cocaine and every day is a battle for him. I’m so glad that you’re seeking help. For your sake and fir your loved ones sake.

        Stay strong

I have seen users ask for advice on here. I’m not sure what the terms are but it seems like it’s been ok. Good luck with everything
