My girlfriend has always liked her drink, but sometimes it goes to far, having one drink is never an option, it’s not on a daily basis but when Friday or Saturday roles around its usually 3-4 bottles of wine.

I don’t have an issue with people who drink and don’t pretend that I’ve never been overboard when it comes to alcohol because I have and I’ve had severe consequences because of it, it’s the fact that every time she sinks these 3-4 bottles of wine, everything that is said to her by me is taken as an insult or I’m trying to belittle her. There has been so many occasions I’ve chased her round because she’s ran off in a rage. I’ve lost friends because alcohol has caused a rift between her and my friends. Now when she’s not drinking, she’s the kindest most caring person I’ve ever come across. I want to be honest with her when it comes to the problem I think she has, but I’m just worried that she’ll take offense.
