My brother is 51 years old! He had been on Cocaine for 5 years, overdosed and survived Dec 2018! A week after our dad passed away! He checked into rehab and we as a family stood by him! My mom and I were there EVERY Saturday for family days!! Numerous classes we went through with him! Counseling sessions!!! Fast forward to yesterday! We had suspected something going on with him! He began to miss work frequently and has now been on short term disability since March! He has lived with my mom since out of rehab!We confronted him yesterday to take a drug test! He flat out lied to us said he wasn’t on anything! Took the test! He went his room packed his bag and left! Said he was going to a hotel for a couple of days! We told him to come home so we could take to Rehab again! He said no he would go Thursday!
I took the picture of the drug test sent to him! He says he’s sorry he let us all down again! Now we don’t know where he is! The last thing text to me was he was going to lay down now, sleep for awhile! That was at 4:00 yesterday afternoon!
We feel helpless!!! Don’t know what to do! Am so mad, hurt and scared to death he will end up dead!!! Any advice is welcome!!!
