I started using cocaine after breaking up from a long relationship at age 26 and starting a new job with a bunch of partiers. I instantly loved it and saw that it wasn’t impacting my life in any negative ways. I was only using probably every other weekend or so. I ended up meeting my now wife and had used some in front of her when we started dating. Our relationship progressed and we have now been married over a year. I had kept my cocaine a secret from her. My drinking has progressively become an issue mostly due to the cocaine and had caused many fights. I have yet to been able to give it up. I finally fucked up(thank god) and she found some in the house and I confessed to everything. It’s a disaster. I am seeking help and going to start a sober life. I just hope she stays and supports me. I need her and I love her. It’s hard as she just can’t believe I have lied to her for all of the years. Any advice or similar situations?
