My husband has hit rock bottom. We got together over four years ago and back then he was a uni student and I a college student. He was open about his weed use from day one which I didn’t have a huge problem with. But almost two years ago a few weeks before our wedding I found out that he was addicted to morphine as he was able to steal it from his mum. My word came crashing down then but stupid me gave him the benefit of the doubt. Things went good again after that, he stopped for a while until recently where I’ve discovered he’s abusing it again. This time from work as he works as a pharmacy technician. It is not just morphine he steals, its benzodiazepines such as diazepam, lorazepam and so on. It is getting to the point where he gets so drugged up he can’t function; then he takes his frustrations out on me making me feel bad. I don’t know what to do anymore, I want him to stop, I still love him but I’m also starting to resent him. We are currently living at my mums while our hnew home if getting decorated and tonight he has really embarrassed me. He was stumbling everywhere, pissed all over the bathroom floor being the mess that he is he couldn’t clean up after himself. He’s started to piss the bed every night too. He also suffers from depression which is why I think he does what he does. But he doesn’t seem to understand/care about how his actions are affecting me. Please give me strength, I’m desparite.
