Hi I am Ronald (Ron) and I am a gay 16 year old kid. I don’t like being gay and just wish I was either straight or just die. Like I don’t want to be gay because I get made fun of at school and im pretty sure I get made fun of at school and it sucks and I hate it all. Like why did god have to make me born being a gay guy??? Like I hate my life and I hope my mum and dad don’t find out because I know they would hate me forever:( it sucks and i just don’t want to be alive anymore 🙁 I need help with it and just need some help to be straight and like women. I hate it and just want to be either straight or dead. Thank you I really do appreciate it. My mum died about 6 months ago and that sucks even more because i really miss her a lot and she’s prolly like “wow I raised a gay son fml”. I’m depressed and do not want to be gay anymore. Ty everyone I do like it!!

Hi Ron
Thank you for sharing that with us. We’re really sorry to hear that you’re having such a hard time at the moment. It’s really important you speak to someone about how you’re feeling.
Please call Childline on 0800 1111. They speak to lots of young people who feel like this, have lots of experience and will be able to help you. You can also speak to someone online at https://www.childline.org.uk/get-support/1-2-1-counsellor-chat/
Samaritans are also available to talk with you about what you are going through, phone 116 123 any time, email jo@samaritans.org or visit https://www.samaritans.org/
You can also phone Switchboard LGBT+ on 0300 330 0630, or visit http://www.switchboard.lgbt to speak to someone online & you can take a look at Stonewall’s website which has info for young people on coming out as LGBT: https://www.youngstonewall.org.uk/get-support/coming-out-lgbt
It sounds like you are having a really difficult time at the moment, we know many young people go through difficult times but get the help they need and then feel better.
Adfam is the national charity for families affected by someone else’s drug or alcohol use – more information about what we do is available at adfam.org.uk.
Best wishes,
Adfam
