I’m in need of help. I have been addicted to cocaine for a long time now and I have been in denial. I need help and answers to why I feel the NEED to take cocaine in order to get up for work? It’s hit me hard as I was lied in bed with my mind climbing the walls and I suddenly realised that I’m an addict and I’m in a really bad position. I used to be a happy go lucky lad but now I’m ridiculously lazy, no energy to even do anything anymore and on top of that my anxiety levels are sky high. When I stop using cocaine I start to have panic attacks and I can’t remember the last time I had a good real sleep without having something else to help me sleep. Iv absolutely no motivation what so ever and I feel guilty because I’m abusing this drug when I still have a family behind me, a job and a roof over my head. I feel like I’m over exaggerating but I’m not even close. I’m getting an amount and then selling half and then using half to get my money back. I’m feeding the addiction, I’m so worried that I’m going to be brain damaged or I can’t have kids, I’m 26 and I’m out my mind. This is the first time I’ve ever tried something like this website because I didn’t want to make it real, I’m living in denial.

Hey mate sorry just see this, please don’t feel like you have no one to talk to. You have made the first step in admitting you have a problem which is a good thing your now able to see quite clearly what it’s doing to your life. Do you want to stop because if your not 100% it will be very hard to quit. There is a lovely bloke called Danman on here please read he’s posts he’s in recovery from cocaine addiction and he’s insight may be so helpful to you. Do you know of C.A they hold meetings and to help people wanting to stop you can find them online type C.A meetings where to find. If your unsure about that your GP is another good place to start.
