Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been with a man for 10 years who is an alcoholic…I am at the point where I dont think I can keep doing this. He knows he is an alcoholic, says he wants to quit, decided to wean down..lasted for 4 days then back to the weekend and drinking when he wakes up. We were seeking help for our relationship until the alcoholism was brought up and then he quit going ..I have continued on my own.
I love him but hate alcoholism.
I know I need to ask him to leave but haven’t mustered the courage to do so.
