Partners back on drugs again this morning, apparently this is the last time.

Why do I not have the strength in me to make him leave?

Does anyone else get worn down by the blame they put on you?

I mean I know I’m not the cause of the problem solely, but he says it’s me and at the time I get really caught up and feel like it is my fault that he uses.

Are we part of the problem?

He’s projecting his guilt onto you because he knows if he admits he’s at fault he will have to stop using and address the addiction and he’s not ready to do that it’s his fault not yours at all
