My brother was sent to rehab court mandated back in January 2021. He came back home in June and he was truly amazing. Lost a ton of weight and made the gym his new addiction. But something changed recently, he started hanging out with a kid from rehab. I’ve always been the one to notice when he’s using because i struggled with drugs on and off also. He gets manic, he never wants to be alone and if you call him out on his behavior he spews venom and says horrible things in a way to deflect the situation. I’m struggling because i don’t know what the next step is. I don’t know who to get involved. He’s been through the courts, probation all of that. I’m just lost.

I work for a charity called Icarus Trust that offers support to people who are dealing with addiction in their family. If you make contact one of our Family Friends would get in touch and talk with you. They are trained and experienced and may help you to know what to do next.
