Hi!

My fiancé 27M and I 23F have been together for four years. Our relationship was going very well, and it got better in past year, so we started thinking about getting engaged.

I knew that he used to mess with drugs sometimes, but it never was something that we struggled with. Recently, he admitted that he cheated with me 8 times during our relationship with different escorts and the reason was cocaine as he claimed.

I know that he is clean now (we did a test), and he is over the addiction, but I’m in still so much pain to know that I’ve been cheated on without knowing. I don’t know if I should cut off the whole engagement or actually believe that he is clean now and it was all because of cocaine and his drug use?

I dont think anyone can answer that categorically, but my husband has cheated on me a few times, always when he has been using Coke. Its not an excuse, but it could be a reason.

Honestly, being with a cocaine user is like being on a life rollercoaster, and living with Jekyll and Hyde, so its quite possible that it could be the reason.

If I was you, i’d certainly not rush into the wedding until you have rebuilt trust, and that will take some time.
