Hello,
Im in a fairly new relationship, a few dates in he told me about his struggles with Heroin and Crack which had been going on for roughly 15 years, he’s done a stint in rehab and now is going it alone, he’s not using NA or any plan atm as he doesn’t get on with NA, recently a few things have gone wrong in his life (redundancy) which has led him to use again, hes now feeling very low and is pushing me away.
we have a few drinks together at weekends as he said alcohol is not an issue for him , but now im starting to feel bad because drinking every weekend with me hasn’t helped obviously, im going to stop my weekend drinking in a bid to help with this, as its not doing me any favours either.
is there anything else i can do that will help?
I love the man, but id be lying if i said i didnt have some doubts about the future.
