Hi everyone , I’m new to this forum, my son is 32 yrs old and had been smoking heroin and crack cocaine for about 18 months now, maybe a bit longer . It’s been so heartbreaking . He went to prison , only a 3 week sentence , he’s now on methodone daily , his mental health has deteriorated greatly . Suppose what I’m asking is that he’s staying back with me short term until he gets his council place, but I’m so paranoid with everything . Want to know where he is what he’s doing , I feel like a wreck with worry . He was awake all night last night so I have my suspicions , just hope I’m wrong . Is it normal for me to be behaving this way , or am I just being silly . Thanks from a heartbroken paranoid mother

Hey I’m in the same boat my son 42 he stayed clean for 10 days and I know this cos I was drug testing him every other day and then he went out stayed out all night I tested him next day and he was positive I was broken hearted I’ve told him to go as I have guardianship of my 13 year old grandson (his son) and I don’t want him to see this it is very normal for you to be suspicious and for you to worry this is what the drugs do to us mothers it’s heartbreaking please take care of yourself x
