Hello I have come on here for some support as I have suffered great depression and anxiety trying to stand by my partner, we have a 2 year old daughter and I have tried not to enable him so he gave him self a kick up the bum to recover however he took the cowards way out and slept withsome behind my back this has let me ver distraught.. he has since moved in with her he had only known her a few days Its very bizare indeed.. he don’t reply to my msgs but as soon as I try to cut ties he sends something random to get me gripped again, how do I let go? Am worried for his future as I know he will only get worse without me. He has not seen our daughter for 4 weeks and has not once asked me how she is, he also sent me a love song the other day WHY?? if he is happy with her?

I feel your pain. The answer to why…you will never find out. The best i can say is because he can. He will continue dipping in at out is to have some control over you. When a similar situation happened to me i sought counselling and its simple. The more we continue to respond rhe more he will do it. People can be very selfish. They dont consiser the full impact of their actions. I allowed him to remain in my life by responding. One day i decided to stop. He reached out even more. I had to find an inner stregnth. It was really hard. He cried but after 11yrs i found my self worth.
Your daughter needs you and you can so this.
