In my experience in and out of addiction, I have encountered a number of young, mostly white kids from loving families who, from one reason or another, have a desire to become drug addicts and even homeless.

I am currently doing research and using my own experiences to put together a potential book—“So, You Want to Be a Drug Addict…?”

In times of social chaos, drug addiction skyrockets, and today we are seeing more and more addicts, particularly young ones who don’t exactly know what they’re doing.

The purpose is to ultimately change they’re thinking and offer ways of getting help, but to also give important tips or advice. From avoiding conflict and getting ripped off, what drugs certain personalities should avoid, avoiding the needle at all costs, proper needle use, locating needle exchanges, how to help one who overdoses, and any sort of harm reduction.

It will also help distinguish between low level drug dealers and drug dealers proper, and how to act and behave with each. I already have many valuable tips and advice that I wished I’d had been given as a young drug experimenter, but without it, became a chronic relapser, until I quit Heroin nearly five years ago, then crack and meth, and alcohol. I am almost fours clean of alcohol and illegal substances.

If you would like to contribute any tips or advice, you will have complete anonymity unless stated otherwise. Anything you can contribute will be valued. But think of things more personal to your experience, instead of “stick with snorting and smoking” and “always you use a clean needle, never sharing.”

This may appear to be the opposite of what is needed but it’s mainly goin to be aimed towards helping young addicts, preventing them from making fatal decisions, and how to find help.

You can send your ideas here or preferably to jaallison22 at gmail dot com. Thank you for your cooperation.
