To all who are and have been effected by addiction never give up. I really thought there was no way out. My son was in the depths of addiction for over 4 years….since the end of June my son has been trying to fight against his addiction. It isn’t easy, but his determination knows no bounds. 3 seperate relapses, and 3 times being disappointed with himself. But………the real issue is learning how to deal with emotions…so lots of support, and I’m thankful for his doctor, his counsellor, his boss, our family…..between us we can help him get there….Friday he took his girlfriend out for a meal…..something new and no alcohol, or drugs….tomorrow he has a counselling session….and the job he got himself is going good….I can’t tell you how proud I am….never give up a recovering addict xxxxx
