My partner is a 40 yr clean and sober alcoholic and was also an intravenous drug user. She talks often about when she used to inject drugs..and it frightens me. It makes me picture in my head her hunched over with a needle in her arm in squalor. It’s nothing like she is now.. how do I express my fears to her kindly, and how much what she says affects me? Grateful for any advice. Thanks. Kit.
