Hi I am new here and having a very difficult time accepting my partners cocaine use. He explains it’s only recreational, but I see it as more often than not. This usually coincides with drink and gambling. He asks to borrow money and lies what it is for. He has recently moved into my house and promised he would never do it around me or in the house. These boundaries are continuously broken, which he will then disappear for a night lying where he is and spend his money on a hotel to do it and get away from my “lecturing”. I have lost trust and really hurt by it all. It’s made me so insecure that I’m on edge all the time. I love him, but struggling whether to walk away. He also has a medical condition and has been near death and I’m a constant worrying wreck.
