My 32yr old son has used weed (Not sure if he takes anything else as friends use cocaine) since the age of roughly 14. He is very irresponsible never pays his own way as he never has money and very argumentative and attacks you personally.

He has recently has become a father and due to me self isolating he can’t come back to my property so he is temporary living with the mother of his little baby. She is also struggling with his behaviour due to him being verbally abusive towards her (name calling) and not paying his way which is nothing knew.

I did have a 1-2-1 chat with her as women to women and basically warned her what her life would be with him.

Unfortunately, I can’t have him back at mine due to me being in the shielding group.

I am looking for advice of where I can signpost him to seek help as this drug has taken away a lovely, bright, funny, caring person that just wants to blame everyone else as it’s never his fault when things go wrong but there is always a common factor – him!

He won’t go to the docs as he doesn’t want it registered for numerous reason.

I am ashamed of how he has turned out as a man however, his father was like him hence why I’m divorced but you can’t divorce your children.

Any help/guidance would be appreciated for me, the mother of his child and for him to get help if he wants it .
