I have been with my Fiance for 2 years. He is dependent on Cannabis, Cocaine and Alcohol. He recently joined a support group but has only been twice in 4 months. When he is due to go to the centre He makes feeble excuses as to why he didn’t go. I am at the end of my tether. He lies all the time when I confront him about drugs and alcohol. He flys off the handle in a rage and becomes verbally abusive. I have called the police some many times to remove him from my property. I once asked her why he takes these SUBSTANCES and his response was I don’t know. I just don’t know how to help him anymore, he says that he has taken drugs for over 20 years and I have explained umpteen times that he has placed a very high value on his habits and not on our relationship. I myself have never taken drugs of any form because I know they ruin lives and relationships. I would love some positive feedback. Thank you.
