Hi everyone,
My 20 year old daughter uses marijuana and has admitted this to me but I suspect there is more going on. She was hospitalised last year due to being malnourised and only weighed 45kg. They ruled out an eating disorder. Everyone I speak to says it’s likely she is using meth if she has weight issues. Her personality has changed so much in the last 2 years – she lives with boyfriend at friends places (her boyfriend is a drug dealer). She hasn’t worked in 18 months and whilst she gets jobs she never turns up to them. Her personality can change over the course of the day. I have asked her if she uses meth and she denies it. I have offered her rehab -she says she doesn’t need it. The relationship she is in I believe emotionally abusive and at least one time was physical -police were called and and AVO issued meaning he’s supposed to stay away from her – but she is choosing to be with him. I’m at a loss – she is an adult and making these choices but it’s so hard.
Any advice?
