Hi. I’m new to the forum. I found out recently my teenage son has been drinking. I don’t really know how to gauge if it’s excessive or not. He’s 18. I’ve found lots of empty bottles of cider and 4 bottles of Jack Daniels within about 2-3 months. He says he’s drinking with friends at the park but I think he’s drinking alone at night. He stays up till all hours gaming, wakes around midday and then goes to work. He’s generally such a good lad. He’s polite, kind and generous and I’m worried if the alcohol takes hold it will change him. I’m worried he might lose his job. But maybe I’m worrying unnecessarily. Everyone drinks in their teens right? I did! I guess I just don’t know if I should be worrying.
