Just found this website. I. So sad to see so many of us are going through such awful times. My son is 21and has also been smoking weed since 14. It’s now desperate times. We are confused, desperate and lost. I am the weak parent! My husband wants to kick him out if he refuses to stop. What hope is there when we are also at each others throat…..I work in a hospital and am in regular contact with addicts who are Suffering from the effects of weed etc. are our teenagers really in denial??? I have pointed this out to him..the awful symptoms of weed, the sad and sorry state these poor patients are in…is ruined there lives.. It seems my son just doesn’t care Bout himself….

Mina, I read your post about your son and his habits with weed. I am so sorry that your family is going through this tough time. As a mother also I can’t even begin to think of how bad I would hurt if it was one of my children. I’m sorrry to say that I can’t give you much advise if any really but I am here for you if you just need to talk. Quick question tho, what symptoms and signs does your son show when he hasn’t been able to smoke in days on end? What is the withdraw like that he experiences? I will keep your family in my prayers. My son sounds very much the same, he started at 15 and is now 22. He has become a selfish lying thief, stealing from me and denies it.its one thing after another with him I am so fed up. I love him and also hate him. People tell me to throw him out but I just can’t but I sure as hell don’t know what to do anymore, we cannot carry on like this. Have you had any help?
