I think I just replied to your message on my forum Nicola.
I was genuinely the same it was all I ever thought about but now I won’t let the thought in my mind and if comes I point out all the negatives! Your really have to be strong which I know you can be as you have tried to stop before and this is the biggest thing noticing that you have to stop in the first place.
This is down to you only you can change being consumed by these pills! When you think of them don’t think of the high think of the withdrawals. I’d take another one you’ll be in even more pain the next time you try stop. I’ve read many stories on here and after the initial first few days things only get better let this motivate you to know that by next week you will be free and back to the old you!
The aches can be helped with exercise they will go away! You will enjoy living because you’ll be empowered by beating something you thought for so long controlled you! It does not control you!
Nicola you are worth so much more than these pills! If the guys from the stories I’ve read can come off these pills then so can we!
Hi Guys! Hope you don’t mind me popping in here with my story.
I’m also on day two of cold turkey and have been at work both days I feel it easier to be at work and have my mind occupied constantly, I didn’t take any where near as much as you guys I took 6 30/500 co-codamol for 2 years! I have only had minimum withdrawals however I do think the worse is yet to come!
I’m so determined never to take another single one of them. Reading others stories on this forum shows that it can be done.
