Thats good pal. I used have some decs but i was useless haha.
Id personally write a list down. Keep in on you all the time. Mines in my phone case. And when you get them do 1 of them that you can do there.
I listen to podcast to keep my mind off them. I like listening to karl pilkington and ricky gervais. And some cocaine addiction recovery stories on you tube. Or read a book.
Or just repeat something in your head till they go away. A random word or something

It will get worse if you have it again.. obviously.. but your an addict and do you really want to make it worse? Id get help for the addiction aswell.

She explains how are brain works with coke, how to beat cravings and to beat the disease.

Your brain plays tricks with u because it wants coke.

Its hard #15006danman83ParticipantYes u are right im exactly the same as u i have cut everyone off and have it on my own. But you would have it alot more if u was with friends. Its all about just cutting it out as much as possible really.

Just get a notepad and write some things you can do, hobbie wise. Plan ahead.
You are going to lapse. Dont worry about it and carry on using, get back to your goals and get back on track. It will make you stronger and its all apart of recovery. Dont panic. Download an app called pocket rehab its for addicts and its great.

Its hard #15003danman83ParticipantI listen to a lot of podcast they help. Watching cocaine recovery stories on you tube help as well. Buy some books about ex addicts recovery stories. They help a lot .

You need to delete every dealer out your phone or friends who take cocaine. Even family. Dont even hang around with coke users any more. You cant drink alcohol as this is a trigger for coke.
Avoid all trigger points, places you picked up.. pubs you have used in. Walk another way. Things that trigger u have coke with.
Your just stuck in a big hole and need to change your routine around. So do a weekly calander with daily task of new hobbies.. gym, read, walk, run, swim, decorate, build something.. anything u want. And stick to it! Tick each day off u do it as a goal you have achieved.
When u wake up, tell yourself you are just going to stay soba for today. Planing far ahead is too much.

Cravings usual last 30 min… so when you get them.. tell your self to delay it for 30 mins..
Distract it with.. excersise, read, walk, listen to music, decorate. Anything you want..
And then do it!
Then they do go. But they will come back again later and do the same again. Just try and stay positive.
Or you can treat it as an abusive ex who wants get back with you… but just keep telling that voice in your head… its over! You have caused me not but trouble its over! Sounds stupid but they do work

danman83ParticipantHe sounds a nice guy your husband. Thats probably what you need right now. Ive never been to the lakes, but me and my gf keep saying we should go.
And your right.. you cant keep worrying, you have your own life and its not good for your health. Hopefully he comes to his sences.
