I have literally just sat down and worked my budget again lol it’s sad that we even have to do this but we are being responsible now and this is when it matters.

I wish I had your resolve to wait in between doses. That is one thing that really hurts me. I can barely make 4 hours. I think when I control the taper more, I will look to expand the dosage time and see how that plays. Again, it’s a mental struggle but it’s a fight that has to be won.

Yeah in my taper plan I have left the highest dosage as the evening one so I’m hoping it helps.

I would love to say that in 3 months time I won’t ever need to rely on these again but I think it will take a little longer but it will be worth it.

    Morning Chris,

Glad to hear your doing well. I hear you with the money thing: I am horrified at the amount of money I spend on this every month. I always wonder why I can’t buy nice things and realise it’s all spent on this junk.

Last night I cut my last dosage out for the first time and it wasn’t too bad. I still had that dull feeling in my head like the drug was slowly knocking on a door waiting to be let in.

This morning I changed my dosage from 3 to 2 nurofen. I’ll be honest, not feeling much of a change which is great. I know it’s early days but I’m seeing this as a good sign.

This is definitely one big mental struggle. I dread the restless legs as I know I will eventually get them but now that the country is opening up again and the weather is nice, I will be doing more outdoors activities and going to the gym to keep myself occupied when not sitting at work.

My strategy isn’t all that great to be honest. I’ve been on a real crappy binge of taking nurofen and solpadeine together. So I’m cutting down my dosage of nurofen from 15 a day to 12. Then every 4 days I’ll drop one until I eliminate it altogether, then I can deal with my solpadeine problems.

Its slow, but I’m hoping doing it this way will work. Right now, I’ve got this really dull throb in my head and warm flushes in my chest but I know that just making through tonight, knowing I’ve dropped from 15 to 12 will be a massive massive boost for me.

I have vitamin c tablets here as someone told me these can help.. they are multivitamins so not sure if they will help.

    Hey Chris

Hope things are going good with you and your taper

I’m on day 1 of my taper plan and I can already feel my head having this dull throbbing sensation. It’s not too sore, but it’s enough to make me feel agitated. Also, the warm sensation up my neck is really irritating.

Have you found any side effects that your struggling with that are similar to mine?

Also do you find your taper is making it easier?
