Here at Adfam we are continually impressed by the bravery and the honesty of the stories that families share on this blog. The intention is to allow family members to tell their story in their own words, and we hope that this helps people to get feelings off their chest, and that other families will feel less isolated and alone when they read of other’s similar experiences.

At the moment at Adfam we have another opportunity for families to tell their story in their own words. Our Family Voices competition, which is part of our annual Candlelit Carol Concert, and allows friends and family members who have lived through someone else’s substance use to express their thoughts and feelings in a creative and constructive way. There are prizes available, and the winning entries are read aloud by a guest speaker at the Carol Concert.
