One of the best things you can probably do is speak to someone who has been in a similar situation before to help you. Talking about everything can make it all seem manageable, especially if you can relate to a situation. I’m so sorry, that just sounds tragic. I know you’re friends help you you, but you can get support from people who have been in similar situations, and you can relate to them. Oh my god, that is horrific for a daughter to have to live through. Not knowing what’s happening with you Father… I can’t even begin to understand. I know your Father was getting help, but have you thought about some for yourself? Addiction, no matter what type or level of it, drastically affects the entire family and all are in need of support. Wow, that does sound like a lot. I know you’ve said that you’ve been to counselling for him and with him, but have you thought about it just for yourself? For the sake of you children maybe?
