mholmesParticipantStop what you’re doing & tell him he goes to rehab or he won’t be allowed in your home anymore, it’s the ONLY way to save him!

mholmesParticipantTheresa, listen to me PLEASE. My brother lost years of his life to drugs. He’s in his 50’s now & clean but he’s very sick and won’t be around much longer. His biggest regret is all the time he’s wasted. Do better for your son and tell him he goes to rehab or you’re kicking him out NOW! It’s the only way. God bless.
mholmesParticipantThe breakup and your mom’s cancer haven’t added to the addiction cycle. It’s how you handle & react to these problems that’s an issue. It’s so easy for us addicts to turn to alcohol and drugs when things get tough so we don’t feel pain, the coward’s way out. Let’s be honest, we don’t wanna do it the hard way.
mholmesParticipantYou’re an addict even if you don’t use. It’s a lifetime challenge.
mholmesParticipantI don’t have to tell you that you did the right thing. It’s the only way you can REALLY help him.
