Katy go look up something called The Freedom Model for Addictions.

It’s an evidence – based, scientifically founded approach which relies solely on facts, instead of ideology about addictive habits.

Helped me sort myself out after countless failed rehabs and ‘medication regimes’ , after a decade of a multiple – shots – a – day heroin habit.

You’ll also find links if you look up the Baldwin Research Institute.

    Good luck!

I know it’s difficult to hear but there might not be all that much you can do. If he ‘s not ready to quit then there’ s small likelihood he will. (more likely to keep using but start lying about it).

The good bit is that on average a cocaine habit burns itself out over the course of around 5 years.

Keep a tight check on the finances ; seperate yours from his if you ‘ve got joint accounts ; but mostly just TALK to him.

Get him to tell you why he feels he needs to take it, what it does for him, what he thinks he gets from it that makes it so worthwhile.

Addictive behaviour has a motivation. It doesn’t happen because the drug has some magical power to compel someone

Tell him he will mess up his bladder and start pissing himself if he continues use. (this actually does happen).

Heavy continued use, might end up needing a bladder transplant.

I would shrug off stomach trouble for my drug but DEFINITELY listen if I got told it might land me in adult diapers.

    Hey the

BEST thing I can recommend for you is something called The Freedom Model for Addictions

    (developed by ex-addict scientific researchers).

Go online looking for The Baldwin Research Institute.

Also check out Clean Slate Addiction Site (by Stephen Slate, ex-heroin user and one of the researchers).

The Addiction Solution Freedom Model podcasts.

They have also published a book you can get on Amazon.

I had a MASSIVE decade long habit ; this scientifically and experience – founded, common sense concept helped me back in charge of my life after going through countless pointless rehabs and substitution programmes.

Give it a try you won’t regret it
