Alcohol-specific deaths in 2022 reach record high

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) have released the latest alcohol-specific death statistics, announcing that there were sadly 10,048 deaths from alcohol in 2022 in the UK, the highest on record, an increase of 4.2% on the previous year, and 32.8% higher than in 2019.
